The European Fine Art Fair (TEFAF)


 

The European Fine Art Fair, or TEFAF, is an annual event for art, design, and antiques. The event in Maastricht was first held in 1988 and was organized by the European Fine Art Foundation. This is a 10-day festival that is considered to be among the best art fairs in the world. It can attract about 75,000 visitors annually. The event showcases 260 of the top galleries across 20 countries, featuring some of the best pieces that are currently on the market. Visitors to this festival can see a massive collection of various works, showing pieces that can potentially be valued at 4 billion euros.

The event mostly features Old Master paintings, classical antiquities, and antiques. But, you can also find amazing modern and contemporary art, jewelry, photography, and 20th century design as well featured at this event. There’s a little something for all different types of art fans to check out at this event.

The 10-day festival is set to take place starting May 31st and end on June 6th, 2021. There is also an Early Access Day on May 29th as well as a Preview Day on the 30th. The 2 events prior to the festival start date are invite-only events.
